Wanderlust Hotel, Singapore (2010)

Hidden amidst the myriad of industrial shops, alongside flower sellers and street-side newspaper vendors in the vicinity of Little India, lies an eclectic boutique hotel - Wanderlust, which was originally an old school in the 1920’s.

Derived from the concept “Industrial Glam”, anachronistic industrial elements that could be found within a stone’s throw made its way into the first level of the hotel with an unexpected twist.

Filling the space with counters constructed by raw oxidized steel, neon signs set against tinted mirrors and re-constructed supermarket carts, the juxtaposition of these varied elements nevertheless permeate the interior with a quirky character.
