Prepping for fabulous-looking hair? Then you ought to take note of PREP; a name short and sweet that is so apt for this blowdry-only salon. Owners of this salon brought in a concept that is a first to Singapore – a salon that offers blowouts and blowouts only. Nestled in Mandarin Gallery Orchard, this shop is sure to catch your eye with its quirky “blown away” hair dryer installation at the window display.

A corporate colour of mint green was picked to give the brand a refreshing look that sets the brand apart from the typical glossy and glamourous images of a hair salon. We worked the interior space around its corporate colour and paired it with oak finishes to create a warm, cosy environment. A bold feature wall of green and oak diagonal stripes, inspired by the notion of hair styling, forms the back wall, which is now labeled the “accidental wall” where it has become PREP’s signature background for photo taking sessions.
