Asylum’s 1st Anniversary Exhibition, Singapore (2000)

Instead of celebrating Asylum’s 1st anniversary with a big bash, we chose to stage an exhibition with everyone in the team conceptualising an art installation based on the theme of “One”.

Each of us was given an area demarcated by dotted lines on the wall and floor to interpret our vision of the theme. Even the visitors’ journey became a part of the exhibition as they were each given individual booklets and headsets to enjoy a truly personal experience.

Visitors also received limited edition DIY t-shirts that they could customise to their preference.
